Hi, thanks for this walktrough!

But I have a problem. Installation worked fine but when I started mac there was the b0 error, so I fixed it with fdisk. Now it starts and I see the welcome Screen. Then there is a Screen "Do you already own a Mac?" If I say [X] Do not transfer my information now and click on continue, the "Welcome" screen appears again. What did I do wrong? :( . I Installed all things that where shown in this walktrough (Under costumize etc).

first off, thank you. i followed your guide and installed successfully.

i just upgraded to 10.5.3 and like you said i have to go to the corner every time, thats fine too, but can we get higher resolution? maybe 1440x1080? thanks.

and are we still have to do that (sleep display thing) even if we upgrade to 10.5.5?

Thanks again!

Hey James... I made a mistake, I acutally used VMWare, not VirtualBox. But the process is much simple than this post since I installed using a 10.5.5 disc.

Hi Henry, did you use relatively the same process (as in this post) to install under virtualbox?

As you'd know the VB community is a bit stand-off'ish about osx guests so google is having trouble finding good info for me :-)

Cheers
James

I actually abandoned putting OSX on the laptop. What I did instead is installed Ubuntu. From there I installed VirtualBox and I installed OSX in VirtualBox. It was definitely a lot easier and I have network support.

Thanks, I finally managed to get v2 installed last night, thanks to your "try it again" trick, it always seems to boot on second go for some reason. Anyway, did any of your networking work? Apparently there aren't (practical) drivers for either my wired nor wireless devices (Broadcom something and Intel 9465 respectively) which makes it pretty useless, I've ordered a Broadcom wireless card which should work apparently. Also some programs didn't work, including terminal!
