San Pedro’s Port o Call Village eats…

Sunday, December 2nd, 2007

After drinking from last night, Jen, Mike and I went to Port o Call Village to eat wonderful seafood.  We’ve been waiting to go back because a couple months ago, we went to LobsterFest there.  After we ate lobster at the festival we walked around and the seafood there looked delicious.

When we got there, we walked around a bit and settled on this one place.  It was owned by koreans, but had mexican workers.  Me and Jen shared the shrimp fajitas, fried rice and clam chowder.  Mike had this fried fish and oysters.

The clam chowder tasted like it was from a can.  Fried rice was okay.

Mike’s fried fish was pretty good.  The oysters were good, but not great.  There’s this other place I had oysters and they were heaven.  Mike said it was because the heavenly oysters were from japan.

But the star of our food was the shrimp fajitas.  We ordered one pound of the shrimp.  It came with garlic bread.  It had onions, bell pepper, potatoes, and tomato.  mmmMMmMmmM…  It was sooo good.  It was a bit spicy, but not that spicy where all you had to suck in air like a jet engine to cool the mouth.  It had the right amount of heat.  The flavor of the dish was sooo good, words can’t even explain it.  My mouth is just watering thinking about it.

There was another part of the village where you get to pick the seafood you want and give it to the cook.  You tell the cook how to cook with the spices you want.  Next time, we are going to do that.  And I can’t wait.
